Still eating for 2 | Get wit the routine

Getting everyone on a strict routine while trying to stay happy and healthy is hard. Let alone holistic and centered, let’s talk about a challenge. Surviving is what I am thankful each night I get my few hours of sleep between feeding and pumping. Reminding myself I’m still eating for two,

Choosing to breastfeed means you still choose to use your body as your baby prime source of nourishment. Because of that you must still be mindful of what you eat and how often. I try to eat something every time I pump and two glasses of water. Doing my best as a just enougher to up my supply due to its hard it leave the house and though I don’t want to speak it into the universe but going into the office may happen especially in my line of work (computer engineer/ business operations). So I’m trying my hardest to raise the supply. I know eating is a big part and I lack in that area due to being busy, have a toddler who demands my attention, work, and more. But I’ve been doing better with one pot meals and bowls full of flavor. From a big pot of chicken, rice and shrimp to this sushi bowl that was amazing.

This tasty shrimp bowl hit the spot and I know my 4 month old will love the fact that mommy made time to eat for us both. Having a motivation makes it all worth doing. It’s a journey but nothing I regret.
