I’ve been trying to be better to my body. I’m not a bad eater but cravings have been my weakness lately. I had to think of alternatives, first I tried buying healthier snacks and that’s cool but it’s not always what I wanted.
So I decided to adjust my eating regimen. I personally hate saying diet because just sounds well not fun and unrealistic. In my adjustments I added more rice, more potatoes and beans, limited meat, and always lots of veggies and fruit.
Breakfast and lunch I’m usually ok. It’s dinner that I fall off on making breads, thick sauces, meat and more. In my condition yes I need the iron but I didn’t have to consume a whole cow in a day 🤦♀️.
So far it’s been a few days and I have been proud of my meals, they hold me over, limit cravings and taste great.

Even my daughter is loving the meals, hearing this is delicious when there are no sauces, gravy, and or cheese is amazing as this age (3 going on 30 😂).

Rice bowls are always my go to when it’s time to buckle down. Rice is great when your bloated, not feeling well and is a great and easy grain to cook that eats well with any veggie. Lentils, beans, whole grain pastas are also great alternatives I’ll show you more soon.
